In this letter addressed to Justitia (her reincarnation), was written a wish, that of being able to “meet again” her lover. Wishes she wanted to see come true thanks to Justitia…

 

 

STORY - “The express wind”…

 

This express wind is the one that takes you to the person who is intended for you.
Our heroes Justitia and Asphodel met on this train.
Asphodel loves Justitia, this emerald-green-eyed girl like the sparkling sea surface visible through the train window.
However, the irony is that the person with whom Justitia fell in love is none other than this "azure blue illusion" from another century, present in the eyes of Asphodel.
Will there be something that will tie our heroes back together again? Will memories of the past be resuscitated from the heart of the latter ?

Centuries ago Lillie and Jérémie loved each other, a pure and impossible love. Unable to live this love Jérémie swore to find it in another life.

Centuries later in the spring of 1999, at the Café des Fées, a young woman by the name of Justicia received a letter from Lillie. This letter tells him about his past life and tells him about the person of his destiny. Leaving this cafe, she meets a young man without really seeing him. He is the person of his destiny. He too remembers things from his past life without knowing what these visions mean ...

 

Later they cross each other on a train, called "Le Vent Express" it was their first meeting. His name is Asphodel and he immediately feels an absolute love for this emerald-eyed girl, the color of the sea that sparkles behind the windows of the train.
He doesn't know the reason for her trip just as she doesn't know the reason for hers. It intensely fixes the landscape and the sea without ever looking away ...
Didn't the sun's rays tell him to take her in his arms ?
It was like a flower he wanted to delicately pick without being able to touch it with his fingertips. They went into the wind at the end of the day to understand its true origins. One day each flower can bloom.

If he had arrived later, they would never have met ...
Could this train that came with the wind also come with their love ?

 

Justicia goes towards the sea. The emerald green water fascinates her. She fixes it. She sees things from her past, this familiar silhouette, that of Lillie. She is fascinated by the sea. Asphodel is fascinated by her eyes ...

 

 

 

She walks on the empty beach and each trace of footsteps on the pristine sand seems to re-open wounds, the mirage becomes stronger it does not feel good but continues to walk. The mirage is approaching. What to choose, return or continue ? Choose dream or reality ?

The reason for her trip is not to run after her dreams or after reality ... it was only an aimless trip, what she had seen was only the shadow of a child which did not exist. Under the red glow of the sun ...

 

 

 

 

Childhood memories. As a child Asphodel saw in a flower garden the ghost of a young girl with emerald eyes. She was happily pursued by a young man without him ever reaching her. No sooner did he see her face than she disappeared in a burst of laughter.

Under the red glow of the setting sun walking in the sand he finally knew that he was this young man whom he had seen in dreams in his childhood. What if the boy in his dream had revealed his feelings to him so that I could convey them?

His footprints in the white sand were like wounds he would have done to her. If this unknown girl present in her childhood dream was “you”, the girl on the train ...
Whether in a dream ... or in this reality ... He will continue to pursue it.

It's fall, it's cold and it's raining. She turns her pink umbrella, smiling like a fairy. He is charmed by the bell of his bicycle and crosses the street to go to a deserted florist. The pastel-colored flowers and her who is alone and who seems so sad. Between joy and melancholy. He purpose her to go one day to see the blue illusion of the Café des Fées 

 

 

 

It's autumn, one afternoon he walks alone in the streets of Paris, the cold wind pushes him into a cafe. He reads romantic news with a sigh.
He resumes his wandering in the streets lined with poplars and walks on the fallen leaves which fall while dancing. It's the end of the day. He still hums the love of this year ... She will not hear this music carried by the wind.

Carried by the wind, he wanders along the cafes of Paris ... an echo resonates deeply in him. It's already winter in him.

She traveled alone, she was alone on the Champs Élysées.

Each season in the cities where he walks crosses it. He received a letter by plane, she said goodbye to him ... three and a half years of love become like a dead leaf ...
Paris, the city where she now lives alone and where they dreamed together. He is now praying for happiness in the city where they both live.

 

 

 

 

Asphodel is on a train again. He watches the landscape go by and thinks of it.
They were linked by an incessant current of love but it was not enough. She remained dissatisfied. He only wanted to stay by her side and feel her love, but something was missing to make her completely happy. Their love has changed into silence. An unforgettable love that only exists in his dreams.

They tried, he thought they would be able to retrace their steps in this life again but they separated.

 

 

 

On a sacred night they were reunited at a reunion dinner. He invited her to dance asking why the color of his eyes seemed so sad.

She admitted to him that she loved someone ... but that this love was not given to her.

One opposite the other on this seaside, they finally let the past speak.
Their meeting, Lillie's wounds ... destiny. She looked at the sea and suddenly her face appeared in her vision. Blue Illusion looking. She was heading towards the dark where there was no one, he chased her and grabbed his arm. She wanted to leave. She was looking for a person who no longer existed, him, Asphodel loved him but she liked the reflection in the bottom of these eyes, the person who was no longer but who was waking up inside him ...

It is a strange paradox that these two lovers who are looking for themselves beyond the ages, find each other but fail. She loves who he was before, and this spirit in him seeks to awaken in her the memory of Lillie, he does not love her, he loves Lillie. Asphodel is ready to sacrifice himself for her own happiness, to leave her mind to the Blue Illusion. She refused this madness but the spirit of the Blue Illusion sought to speak to her.

This last album of the group in its first era takes up the story already told because it contains the songs of the singles and sung live. The sound of this album is very cinematic and some tracks are really surprising like "Retour". The limited edition booklet offers a presentation of the characters and an additional explanation, this presentation was also found on the so-called web dedicated to the album by Sony. The two hearts in love with the original story are reincarnated. They crossed paths in dreams in their childhood and later in adulthood. It is strange to note that here we are not talking about Lillie and Jérémie but Lys Blanc and Illusion Bleue, as if over the centuries their names had been erased from memory ...
The photos in the boocklet illustrate the story or use the images from the "Le Vent Express" pamphlet in addition to the photos of the members of the group playing their characters. He details the characters and their reincarnations, he sums up the story of Lillie and Jérémie as in "Le Vent Express", he sums up "Le Vent Express" whose songs start the album. And after "Ticket" this is where the story continues.
 

Surprisingly, in the CD booklet the members of LAREINE pose in the different costumes displayed throughout history but not those of this album. The most highlighted photos are those of the costumes for the single from the cover of "Bara wa Utsukushiku Chiru" re-recorded for the single with the participation of Mrs. Ikeda.

In this album as in all of history, there is a notion of the seasons. The story begins with "Engagement" in spring, it continues in summer on the edge of the emerald sea. "Billet" is a dreamlike timeless garden, a kind of eternal spring, like childhood. So a spring, a summer where they meet, seek and flee.
An autumn. Two songs speak of autumn, sadness and Paris. Goodbye too. They see each other again but it doesn't work it's the real break and it's in winter, in Tokyo.

"Metamorphosis" is also in winter but it is a song which is apart, and not in this album. It is before the singles, the pamphlet and the album and can also be located after depending on the reading that we do.

Each song is in a specific order in the album and everything follows the seasons. The places are important also the sea is a capital place. It was in a lake, a body of water, that it all started with Lillie and Jérémie. They are often found at the seaside, in "Emeraude" and in "Traces" but also in "Ano Hito no Aishita Hito nara" and "Fierte no umi to tomo ni kiyu" at the very end where everything ends.

Another place mentioned: the city. We mention Paris and Tokyo by name in two songs, "Paris wa Aki-iro" and of course "Fuyu Tokyo" but several songs take place in a more urban environment: "Pink no Kasa", "I love you", "Homecoming" no Bansan "is linked to" Fuyu Tokyo "so it is in town.

The notion of travel and movement is also important. They are on a train at key moments in history. They meet for the first time at the Café des Fées but only really meet on a train. The very narrative and cinematographic "Retour" track has a train noise. In "Shiroi Ito" he obviously travels by train too. The means of transport where you can meet people, fast and at the same time with a notion of long travel. "Le Vent Express" evokes "The Orient Express" in its name. It may be the name of the train.

To finish each song is symbolized by a flower and its symbol. It was in the booklet "Guide of Romance" distributed with special coupons for any purchase of a first edition of single, album and DVD "Bara wa Utsukushiku Chiru", "fierte no umi to tomo ni kiyu", and "film tracks ". It completes the meaning of the songs and it is for this reason that each each chapter corresponds to a flower and to its symbol of the booklet.
