After the separation of the group LAREINE in 2006, Kamijo and Hizaki decided to work together in autumn 2006. The two musicians had already collaborated together at the end of 2006 for the last LAREINE concert of the Halloween event where Hizaki had replaced Mayu at the guitar. They had known each other for a while and had always wanted to work together.
The separation of LAREINE gave them the opportunity. They had the same idea of ??finding "L'absolu Youshikibi" (beauty of the shape of the sounds and extreme aesthetics).

In March 2007 the musical training was complete: Kamijo on vocals, Hizaki and Teru on guitar and Jasmine You on bass (all three were already in Hizaki's solo project "Hizaki Grace Project") and on drums , Yuki advised by the Rockmaikan. The name "Versailles" was proposed by Hizaki who always wanted this name for a group (but the proposal had failed for the previous group, "Sulfuric Acid").

The creation of the group was announced on March 14, 2007 during the first concert of the show « Node of Scherzo ». No further information was given at this time. The members were announced on Kamijo's blog on March 29, and the group's name on March 30.
On May 2, 2007 a promotional video in the form of a Trailer was broadcast on Youtube to present the group. The music is signed Kamijo. The video is buzzing abroad. As the group is made up of musicians known to the visual scene, it arouses a lot of interest before even releasing its first title.

At the end of May, a German TV went to Japan for an interview with the group and it was reported in June in the Japanese newspaper Sankei (a daily newspaper).
The Versailles group quickly found itself in the top 5 searches on Yahoo!
Versailles made its first appearance on June 23 at the Meguro Rockmaykan, with some titles and a showcase in front of an exclusively male audience.
Their first official concert took place on June 24 during a live auto product "Château de Versailles" which took place at the Ebisu Liquidroom and accompanied by events in stores the following days. During these first two concerts, and ordered by mail in SHOXX magazine, the following months were exclusively distributed their very first single and DVD single, "The Revenant Choir".

At the beginning, Teru was only announced as a session member, because he was still engaged with another group ? ? ? (Aikaryu). He became a full member after the dissolution of this group in July 2007.
The group signed their first contract with the German label CLJ Records and released their first mini-album, Lyrical Sympathy on October 31, both in Japan and in Europe (It was ranked 4th in the Oricon ranking of independent labels).

This first outing was followed by a DVD and a set of Perfumes "Aesthetic Violence". Each member has his scent in an individual box including a DVD with the live video of "Shout And Bites" recorded on August 31, 2007 at Shibuya O-East, and an interview with the member, a pendant serving as a bottle and the perfume. 

         



Their song, "The Love From A Dead Orchestra" also appears on the album compilation, released by Sony BMG in Germany on November 9, Tokyo Rock City.
In continuation of the show Node Of Scherzo, the group performed in a series of concerts in November. It is a series of group lives with Juka and Kaya, each artist sings in turn, and the concerts ended with the trio singing the song of the show. You can discover these concerts and behind the scenes in this DVD in 2 CDs released on December 24, 2077, sold only by mail.
Entitled Urakizoku ?? ??? with the Node Of Scherzo logo, this DVD has long remained a mystery to me. I learned more from the site Discogs and on the Site about Kaya "Addicted". It is commented in voice over by Kaya (among others) and shows a band of cheerful joking boys and not serious at all...


   


   

 

This film is in small pieces on youtube, I took over the fifteen parts put online by RosesVersailles eight years ago to reconstruct the two CDs since this person was kind enough to share everything and not just the parts on Versailles like Most people.
