2017 starts off smoothly for Kamijo's solo career since he is mainly taken up with Versailles activities. A new mini album, "Lineage" is announced for the group on January 15, extracts of the titles had been broadcast in a stream on Ameba TV at the end of December.

On January 23 Château Agency announces a new artist within the agency, SUI former singer of Mégaromania (among other groups) it was already produced by Kamijo at the time when he was in Metis Gretel which was produced by Sherow Artists Society . He will perform under the name of David (pronounced Davide). A single "Genesis" is planned and a first live announced on April 8 in Tokyo.

The Versailles tour in Europe takes place from January 26 to February 5, January 2 Kamijo falls in Poland and sprains herself. He will be treated in Spain where he will sing for the first time seated on a swivel chair and with golden crutches. It will occur in the same way in France on the 5th. It should be noted that even sitting and even reducing the pain (a sprain and wearing royal boots should not be very compatible ...) he sang very well and hasn't lost his smile. Surprised during the concert on February 5, David made his world premiere in Paris as the first part of the Final of the Versailles tour at "La Machine du Moulin Rouge".

On February 14, Versailles celebrates its tenth anniversary at the Nippon Budokan, a legendary room of substantial size for the group. Kamijo is still limping but assuring the show.
On February 18, resumption of Solo activities with the announcement of a new concert "Berger de Minuit" scheduled for March 14, this is the 5th installment for FC members. The session members will be Meku, Masashi and Yuki.

On March 13 the details of the titles of "Castrato" are announced, it will include a song composed in collaboration with the video game "Let It Die". The release of the single is also postponed to May 10. On March 25 a series of promotional events with different options around Castrato are announced :

Publication no. 5 of Rose Croix magazine is announced on March 29. This magazine has become a true Arlesian for the members of the Fan Club, which visibly suffers from operational concerns and a lack of rigor, especially for the international part. Many disgruntled members have tried to alert the artist to this problem via social networks. It seems that Kamijo's texts, live report and photo publications have since been updated internationally ...

On April 13, the 1st enigmatic "Castrato" Trailer comes out with a visual of an old cemetery, a very cinematic instrument and choirs. A text read in English explains what a castrato is and the names of the members present during the recording are revealed in writing: Meku, Anzi, Masashi and Yuki.

 

    

 

We also discover the covers of the three versions as well as the story line text at the bottom of the cover which adds a chapter to the enigmatic story of the singing vampire : "A mysterious man wearing a red outfit appeared in social circles in Paris in mid 18th century with a plausible rumor of his being alive for over 4000 years. Newly crowned Louis XVI and marie Antoinette allowed him a reception with them but they never believed what the Count said. The french Revolution broke out. It was one year after he handed Marie -Antoinette a letter of his last warning. " A text in English ! Perfect for international fans !

On April 17 Kamijo is invited to the Nico Visual show on Yoshiki Chanel. It turned in my ears this extract ... I was too thirsty for new 2016 having seen no release of new title. Thank you to TAKAHILO who shares a lot of things on his channel as does Catavanda too.

On April 26th a lot is happening, first of all it's the day of the first live Epic Rock Orchestra. A new special page was created and appeared the next day on the web and accessible via the Château Agency website : Epic Rock Orchestra.  You can read a new part of Kamijo's story in English, view the details of the new single and the members of the orchestra present during this very special live with the appearance of more classic instruments live with a violinist , a pianist and a cellist in addition to the group members who were Meku and Anzi on guitars, Yuki on drums and Shuse on bass. Note therefore the return of Anzi who was already there at the time of Symphony.

 

 

Very beautiful photos are published after this live whose atmosphere seemed really different from ordinary lives, a second salvo of publication will be made on May 10, I group everything here since it is the same concert. The backdrop is decorated with a huge visual which is the one that adorns the web page of the same name.

On June 11, during the last Tower Record instore, Kamijo announces a new single for September 27 ! Details will be given during "Bonjour Vampire!" June 16. The 12 a first preview of the photos of the new article to appear in Rock And Read n ° 72 of the end of the month.
