In the spring, between March 26 and May 9, 2009, the group turned again ("The Fragment Collectors" tour) in Japan for their last dates as freelancers.

Two DVDs were planned for May 20: "Chateau de Versailles" which contains the final concert "Chateau de Versailles" and "History of the other side" which is a documentary on the history of the group with clips, interviews, backstage images and extracts from lives. Between May and June Sherow Artist Society (production house of Kamijo which produces Versailles in Independent) organized a series of events entitled "Kakumei non Anthology ?? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?" tickets for these events were free and distributed to people who had bought a CD or a random Visual Kei DVD in partner stores listed on the official Versailles website. Each event was supervised by one or two Versailles members who occasionally sang with Matenrou Opera (also produced by Sherow Artists Society)

To celebrate their debut in Major Versailles gave 5 consecutive independent concerts at the Meguro Rockmaykan from June 17 to 21 and released the single "Ascendead Master" on June 24, 2009 the title seemed obvious to them to be their first single in Major. The title was released in 4 versions:

The death of Jasmine You

It was during this period that the group was faced with a terrible period. At the beginning of August, the group announced that Jasmine You, the bass player was taking a break for health reasons. The group then appeared to four members during the “SCUBER DIVE 09” events concerts at the Music Exchange duo on August 3.?

On August 10, a day before a concert planned at Odaiba and organized by FUJI TV, the group announces on its website the death of Jasmine You and that Versailles cancels all of its appearances and activities until further notice.
The death of Jasmine You marked very strongly each member of the group, Kamijo seems to have been very affected and the evocation of the disappeared bass player is still today borrows a certain emotion. He is now part of the group as an eternal member and will always be mentioned in the group's lives which took place afterwards.
Many testimonies and messages were sent to the group and to Jasmine and they were published on the site in the following days. No details about the cause of his death were ever released. He was 30 years old ... Even today the fans honor his memory. On certain videos of Live and a documentary on the group, we can see Jasmine You doing magic tricks during the concerts. He was a character with an atypical and baroque costume, a real creature from elsewhere, he described himself as an alien in an interview, where he also manifested a real passion for sports cars.

After a period of silence and cancellation of their commitments, the group reappeared on stage during the V-ROCK Festival with Yo de Matenrou Opera as support bassist. During this concert, the release of the album "Jubilee" was announced after the band returned to the stage in January 2010. On this album, the missing bass parts were recorded by Hizaki. You can read on the Rokkyuu Magazine website an interview with the group from that time.
