In February 2014, a second trailer with extracts this time :

This mini album tells the story of the young Louis XVII (the Dauphin Louis-Charles, second son of Marie-Antoinette and Louis XVI) during the French Revolution. The fate of the tragically dead little boy is revisited from the angle of the Vampires. And if he was alive, saved from death by a musician, Beethoven ... He came out in four different editions, including one with the soundtrack for the 2011 film "Vampire Stories" composed by Kamijo. This CD was released under the label of Warner Music Japan, the same as Versailles (in co-production with Château Agency, its own Label since it is credited there as co-producer)
A second trailer featured the musicians who accompanied KAMIJO on this production: Kei Yamazaki on drums, Ju-ken on bass, and Anzi on guitar. This trailer also presented the titles as seven "movements" which would all be assembled in a single promo video of the mini album.

Details of the four different editions of the album in the discography section.

SYMPHONY OF THE VAMPIRE

1 - Presto -2 - Sacrifice of Allegro - 3 - Royal Tercet - 4 - Dying-Table - 5 - Sonata - 6 - ???????? (Mangetsu no Adagio) - 7 - Throne?

"Symphony of the Vampire" is an original concept, a story is built and told through melody. A spoken intro recalls the historical context and the narrative bias "and if he (Louis XVII) was alive ..." all with texts in English and Japanese in the video. It is constructed as a single film, the images are linked together like music. The pieces follow each other and mingle as in a classic composition. The first three tracks are linked perfectly the last notes of a song becoming the first of the next one. A neat photo, music that mixes with images like film music. A great production. It is said that the video was shot on one day which will explain the homogeneity of the thing. For lovers of the Riyoko Ikeda universe, we find here narrative elements and famous characters. It is interesting to see how the legend surrounding the destiny of Louis-Charles is here interpreted in vampiric sauce.
The melodies, for some, recall the Versailles era, others the LAREINE era like "Royal Tercet" where we find the sound of a music box also present in "Louis" and "Grazioso". "Diying Table" is a song that clashes with a very metal, very raw sound and yet it fits well into the story. Symphonic instrumentation and choirs are very present on all the songs.
On January 21, 2016 the program "At the heart of history" on Europe 1 evoked the fate of Louis-Charles, I took the opportunity to send a little message speaking of Kamijo as I did for Riyoko Ikeda and " The Rose of Versailles "in a program on Marie-Antoinette and he had mentioned the manga. So he quotes Kamijo this time: At the heart of the story, 35 minutes 20.

The costume of "Symphony" has a symbolism that he explained briefly in an interview. The black suit is asymmetrical and plays on the short and the long, the deadly lifespan is short, the life of Vampire is eternal. We can notice a slightly rising cape collar in a very "Dracula" style. For the white costume I have not read any explanations, we notice feathers on the shoulder like that of Louis, it is pure white and very reminiscent of the "Prince & Princess" costume of Versailles. He wore it once on stage, in the photos made for the album and for the reception of the cherry blossoms of 2015.
